What we collect
When you place an order we collect the information you give us: name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processors — we never see or store your full card number.
We also automatically collect limited technical data (browser, device, IP address, pages viewed) through cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, prevent fraud, and measure our advertising.
How we use it
- To fulfill and ship your order and provide customer support
- To send order and shipping notifications
- To send marketing email or SMS, if you opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To measure and improve our advertising and website
Who we share it with
We share data with service providers who help us run the store: Shopify (e-commerce platform), payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, our email platform, and advertising and analytics providers such as Meta and Google. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act). To exercise any of these rights, email support@nordvik-kitchen.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
